Figure du Juif dans la littérature algérienne contemporaine

La littérature algérienne contemporaine se distingue par sa vocation originale et par sa thématique diverse et variée, qui vont de questions purement patriotiques à des questions plus universelles. En effet, le recours à des minorités et à des personnages marginaux, tel que le Juif, par autant d'écrivains algériens est le premier constat sur lequel se justifie notre problématique autour de la présence de l'élément juif dans le roman algérien. Parmi ces écrivains qui rénovent la vocation de la littérature algérienne contemporaine, nous citons: Anour Benmalek, Boualem Sansal, Yasmina Khadra, Slim Bachi, Kamel Daoud, Djibril Daho. L'objectif de cette étude est d'analyser la dimension du juif dans la littérature algérienne contemporaine et de comparer comment et pourquoi l'écrivain algérien a évoqué et/ou intégré la figure du juif dans son répertoire. Faire participer le personnage juif à la trame narrative est-il une tendance littéraire ou un militantisme? Ce travail se propose d'étudier les évolutions des rapports entre écriture et altérité et d'observer ainsi les mutations de la conscience littéraire algérienne face aux réalités historiques, sociales et politiques.

Contemporary Algerian literature is distinguished by its original vocation and by its diverse and varied themes, which unfolds from purely patriotic questions to more universal ones. Indeed, the use of minorities and marginal characters, such as the Jew, by so many Algerian writers is the first observation on which our problematic around the presence of the Jewish element in the Algerian novel is justified. Among these writers who are renewing the vocation of contemporary Algerian literature, we cite: Anour Benmalek, Boualem Sansal, Yasmina Khadra, Slim Bachi, Kamel Daoud, Djibril Daho. The objective of this study is to analyze the dimension of the Jew in contemporary Algerian literature and to compare how and why the Algerian writer evokes and/or integrates the figure of the Jew in his repertoire. Is it a literary trend or an activism to involve the Jewish character in the narrative? This work aims to study the evolutions of the relationship between writing and otherness and thus to observe the mutations of the Algerian literary consciousness in the face of historical, social and political realities.
